For the headboard specifically:

  • Supawood 16mm Headboard 950mm x 600mm x 1
  • Supawood 16m Legs 1150mm x 100mm x 2

Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Attaching the Legs to the Headboard

Secure the legs (1150 mm x 100 mm) x 2 on to the back of the headboard (950 mm x 600 mm) x 1 with screws.

Drill pilot holes, counter sink, and apply wood glue before securing the legs to the headboard with screws from the back. In doing this, make sure everything is properly aligned and stable to ensure nothing breaks or falls apart.

Step 2: Completing the Headboard

To complete your new headboard, drill holes in the legs for wall mounting. Before filling all screw holes with wood filler and painting the headboard, you should drill holes into the legs (at the top and bottom of both legs) so that you can secure the headboard firmly to the wall.

Now that your headboard has been perfectly assembled, you can now start with the fun and exciting bits – the finishing touches. Go wild with paint, add on some fabric or any other decorative materials of your choice.

If you’re wanting to mount the headboard to the wall securely, we recommend using heavy-duty brackets or cleats to secure it. Alternatively, if you want to attach it to the bed frame, you can use bolts or screws to secure the headboard firmly in place.
