Redhill Marathon 2025: Number Collection Points and Late Entry Information

The Redhill Marathon is almost here. Whether you’re a seasoned runner putting the final touches on your training or a last-minute entrant seizing the opportunity to take on this iconic Cape Town event, there’s one essential task on your checklist: collecting your race number. Timbercity is proud to support the running community by hosting convenient number collection points in the days leading up to race day. Here’s everything you need to know about when and where to collect your pack, plus information on late entries.

Collect Early, Run Stress-Free

Race morning comes with enough excitement and nerves. Skip the queues and collect your race number early so you can focus entirely on your performance when it matters most. Early collection means you can check your race pack, sort out any issues beforehand, and arrive on race day calm and ready to go.

Race Weekend Collection at FHAC

If you can’t make it to either Timbercity location, Fish Hoek Athletic Club (FHAC) will have collection and late entry opportunities over race weekend.

Friday, 23 January
16h00 – 19h00

Saturday, 24 January
For 36km & 42.2km runners: 03h30 – 04h45
For 13km runners: 05h15 – 05h45

Late Entries: First Come, First Served

Thinking about a last-minute entry? Late entries are available at FHAC on race weekend, but spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The 13km race has a strict cap of 600 participants, so arrive early if you’re planning to enter this distance. Race weekend collection windows are short, particularly on Saturday morning. Factor in potential queues and give yourself plenty of time.

Share the Information

Already sorted? Great! Share this information with your running club, training partners, and anyone else taking part. The more runners who collect early, the smoother race morning will be for everyone.

Race Day Essentials

A few reminders to make sure you’re fully prepared:

Check your race pack contents as soon as you collect it. Familiarise yourself with race day logistics, including start times and route details. Plan your transport and parking in advance. Lay out your kit the night before. Set multiple alarms. Stay hydrated in the days leading up to the race. Bring a reusable cup or water bottle. As part of our #RunGreen commitment, this year’s race encourages all participants to help reduce environmental impact by bringing your own reusable cup or water bottle to refill at our well-stocked water stations. As Timbercity celebrates 50 years of crafting better, we remain dedicated to building a future that’s both strong and sustainable.

See You at the Finish Line

The Redhill Marathon is just days away. Make your life easier by collecting your race number at Timbercity Montague Gardens or Tokai this week. Whether this is your first marathon or your fiftieth, whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply aiming to finish, we’re cheering you on every step of the way. Good luck, runners. Let’s make this Redhill Marathon one to remember.
